Take Action, Then Take Home The Profits!
Dollars and cents aside, what distinguishes 'success' from 'failure'?
What allows one relatively normal man to achieve greatness or, at least, financial wealth and another, seemingly equal man, to barely be able to afford his trailer payment?
Many would say 'knowledge', but I have seen Professors of Economics and other men and women of superior intelligence tooling around in rusted Yugos, dwelling in apartments no larger than a walk-in closet! Knowledge is vital but obviously just a piece of the puzzle.
Some refer to 'ambition' as the doorway to success. Ambition is crucial but what is ambition but simply a desire for wealth, fame or betterment? Are not 'squeegee guys', the gentlemen who spit shine your car windows at stoplights, ambitious? How about the factory worker who sucks up every opportunity to work overtime? Surely, he's ambitious. Right? The fact is, America is oozing ambition but still we hear about so few real success stories.
Undoubtedly, desire for success, a desire for wealth, a desire for happiness is essential for a man to achieve prominence but alone, desire (ambition), is but a wish, a fantasy. Like knowledge, desire (ambition) is a necessary piece but not the whole puzzle.
So what is the mysterious ingredient that allows 5% of the population to live in luxury and 95% to financially struggle endlessly?
It is my belief that there is no one basic ingredient to success but a recipe of items needed to achieve entrepreneurial wealth in America. We have identified two qualities necessary for financial success but the third and final ingredient is the most important. Consider it the 'yeast' that will make our financial 'dough' rise to the heavens!
What is this critical ingredient?
ACTION!
Action turns dreams into reality and ideas into something tangible, useful, and beautiful! Action separates the 'haves' from the 'have nots'. Action transforms your dreams into dollars!
Proper Knowledge, mixed with just a handful of Ambition and stirred with a heaping dosage of Action allows a man to soar! Action is the key! Without it, brains crammed with knowledge and hearts hemorrhaging ambition are useless.
How many incredible ideas have been buried with the corpses of average men and women because they did NOT have the courage to act? Paralyzed, perhaps, by their fear of failure.
How many good if not great ideas have YOU had but just never 'found the time' to bring them to fruition? Myself? Give me a few hours and a calculator and I'll let you know.
Great men and women who are willing to attain knowledge, who have desire burning in their belly, and the courage to actually act upon their ideas deserve all the success they have or will achieve. As 'average' as these people may seem, they do the one thing that most will not do. They act upon their ideas! On the surface, a simple mission, but in actuality, a life-changing task undertaken by very few.
Realize that your ideas are gold, but it is only by physical (and mental) action that this gold can be truly attained. Knowledge, ambition and years of precise planning can guide you to the sparkling stream where the gold awaits, but you must be willing to kick off your shoes, roll up your sleeves, and start panning your entrepreneurial heart out to receive your golden rewards!
Decide TODAY that your ideas are worth acting upon! Do so, and YOU will be able to name your price in this world!
