Imagine Success

Unless maintained by some outside restraint, expenditures
always surpass whatever income is available --Parkinson's
Budgetary Expansion Principle
The result of this principle is a well proven Law: If you
have a problem with your bills right now, there is no level
of income at which you will have "No problem"!
The problem remains the same, only the number of 0's changes.
Why? Because at any one time, our ability to imagine ways
to spend money, and to justify these as something we "need,"
always surpasses our means of making money. Imagination is
instantaneous and effortless. Income always takes some time
and effort. Therefore, imagination will always out-pace income.
Given time and the right effort, your income can increase to
whatever level your imagination has currently chosen.
But by that time, your imagination will have expanded. There will be new ways to spend, which then surpass your new
level of income.
Sooner or later, outside restraint will be imposed.
The restraint will be either voluntary, or involuntary. It
can be a budget. It can be bankruptcy. Or it can be something in between that we sometimes call "feast or famine."
A simpler approach to understand this is "Money is Hard to
earn and Easy to Burn."
Take Heart!
The Inverse of the Law is usually true:
Provide your own, voluntary, "outside restraint."
A personal Money Control system is a critical defense tool
you impose which maintains your expenditures within whatever
money you make.
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, whatever your situation, you have the creative capacity, in the form of an
infinite ability to generate ideas, to solve any problem and
achieve any goal. There are virtually no limits to what you
can accomplish except for the limits you place on your own
imagination.

power of making images, the power of imagination" --Robert Collier
"We should be so well balanced and symmetrical, that nothing
which could ever happen could throw us off our center, so
that no matter what misfortune would overtake us, there would still be a whole magnificent man or women left after
being stripped of everything else" --Orison Swett Marden
