2006 Gasoline Price Spikes; Count on It
Many are wondering if we will see the same level of oil barrel price spikes in 2006 as we saw in 2005. The answer is yes we will and there are many reasons for this. The price per barrel for oil will increase along with the gasoline price spikes during 2006.
We will see the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season cause some issues with our supply capacity and we will not see a slowing down of our demand for oil. Additionally we will see increased threat of International Terrorism in Nigeria. We will see oil tanker spills and increased World Wide call for regulations in the distribution and transportation of oil products from the field to refineries and from refineries to storage and from storage to distribution. Further we will see that the Iran showdown causes tension in the price per barrel.
We will see the beginnings of big effects of China buying some of the World Wide supply from OPEC nations, as they are already buying some. They will be even thirstier for oil than the United States. What about growing our own fuel? Yes, it has popular support and synergy indeed along with the Presidential push we will see greater use of Bio Fuels, but it will not be enough to solve any of the issues in 2006. Face it folks we will see price fluctuations, which will be a great or much greater as they were in 2005.
